IBPS PO 2017 NEW EXAM PATTERN

IBPS has introduced some major changes this year in its Mains Exam Pattern. However, the examination pattern for the preliminary exam is still the same. This year IBPS will also conduct a descriptive test of English Language (Letter and Essay Writing) along with the mains exam. Now the structure is very similar to the mains pattern of SBI Exams. Reasoning and Computer sections are clubbed and there are changes in the name of subjects as well as the number of questions and weightage of each section.

The National Democratic Government (NDA) launched a slew of initiatives since it came into power on 26 May 2014. The initiatives were launched with a focus on financial inclusion, infrastructure development and empowerment of down-trodden.

       ➡Centre unveiled a regional connectivity scheme, known as UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik), with flights priced at Rs.2,500 for one hour of flying time to & from regional airports. Under the scheme, airlines will be offered a slew of sops at smaller airports such as waiver of landing & parking charges.

    ➡   Under Sagarmala programme, the Union Ministry of Shipping sanctioned the Capital Dredging Project for Ro Pax Ferry Services between Gogha & Dahej, in Gulf of Cambay in Gujarat. Ministry released Rs 58.50 Crore as first installment of grant-in–aid to Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB). The total project cost is estimated to be ₹234 crore, of which 50 per cent will be funded by the Centre under the Sagarmala programme.

    ➡   CCEA approved upgradation of 13 existing Government Medical Colleges/Institutes (GMCIs) under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).

SAUBHAGYA: Pradhanamntri Sahaj Har Ghar Bijli Yojna

• ●All peer-to-peer lending (P2P) firms will be treated as non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and will be regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
• ●Fino Payments Bank has launched its mobile banking app called BPay.
• ●SEBI permitted Real estate investment trusts (REITs) and infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs) to raise funds through debt securities.
• ●SEBI allowed single-asset REITs similar to InvITs.

यह परियोजना उत्तराखंड में क्लस्टर प्रस्ताव के माध्यम से सशक्त विकास के लिए उपयुक्त S&T इंटरवेशन करने में मदद करेगी।

2) भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ने वैश्विक सूचकांक प्रदाता एफ टी एस ई 100 के साथ साझेदारी में FTSE SBI बांड इंडेक्स सीरीज की शुरुआत की।

3) केंद्रीय पेट्रोलियम और प्राक्रतिक गैस मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने गांधी नगर में पहली सेन्टर एलपीजी पंचायत कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की।

I. RBI established on April 1, 1935 under RBI Act 1934 (recommendations of John Hilton Young Commission 1926 – called Royal Commission on Indian Currency and Finance), is the central bank of the country and was nationalised w.e.f Jan 01,1949.
