1) Online trading platform for farm goods launched
-› PM Narendra Modi launched e-NAM (Electronic National Agriculture Market) portal for trading in agriculture produce and it will help in farming revolution.
-› This Online portal will initially enabled farmers in Eight States.

Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh,  Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujrat, Telangana, Rajasthan and Haryana.

-› Indian woman boxer M C Mary Kom added another honour to her list of accolades as she was named one of the eight ambassadors for the upcoming World Championships by the International Boxing Association (AIBA). An elated Mary Kom (51kg), who has five World Championship gold medals to her credit.

After Nehru Memorial Society, the Modi government reconstituted the management of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) bringing in veteran Hindi journalist Ram Bahadur Rai as its head in place of Chinmaya Gharekhan, a former diplomat.

11) Narendra Modi launches village self-governance campaign
-› Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Gramodaya se Bharatodaya Abhiyan (village self-governance) campaign on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. The main aim of the Campaigned is to spread awareness about the various schemes that the Centre has launched keeping rural India in mind.
